TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated teacher of Mathematics to join our Enterprise Faculty which is committed to raising standards and expectations.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved in and help shape our Academy, at an exciting stage in its development. The post reflects the expansion of the Academy and offers significant scope for professional and career development as the Academy continues to grow in size.
The successful candidate should be an ambitious colleague who combines excellent organisational skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both staff and students. They should be a hardworking, creative, energetic, and excellent classroom practitioner. They will have the capacity to help us establish a vibrant learning environment, and a culture of enthusiasm for learning. Their professionalism and dedication will enable our students to achieve more than they believe possible.
The Enterprise Faculty specialises in Mathematics, Computing, Finance and Business Studies. All are taught as discrete subjects from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. The Enterprise Faculty is a successful Faculty that has grown both in size and range of subjects taught over the past 5 year. Experience and/or a willingness in teaching across subjects within the Faculty such as Business and Finance in addition to Mathematics will be looked at favourably.
The Faculty is housed in its own wing of the Academy. Senior House (Years 9-13) students are taught within this environment. Year 7 & 8 students (Newton House) are taught in Junior House, a separate area for all Junior House teaching.
Newly Qualified teachers will be considered for the position.
