What skills and experience we're looking for
QTS
Evidence of sustained professional development
Experience contributing to improved teaching and learning within a team (e.g., coaching, mentoring, modelling practice).
Relevant professional development, e.g. NPQLTD programmes
Experience leading a teaching and learning priority at departmental or whole-school level.
Demonstrated ability to lead school improvement initiatives.
Experience of monitoring, evaluating and improving the quality of teaching and learning
Proven ability to raise standards and improve outcomes for pupils.
Experience delivering CPD for teachers.
A strong understanding of effective teaching, learning and assessment
An excellent classroom practitioner with a track record of strong outcomes for all children over time
Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and current educational developments
Ability to analyse data and use it to drive improvement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
Ability to inspire, motivate and support pupils and colleagues.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of effective approaches to inclusion and adaptive teaching
Understanding of Trust-wide collaboration and working across multiple settings
A clear and ambitious vision for inclusive high-quality education
