Teacher of Mathematics with the possibly of 2 i/c Mathematics: KS3 dependent on candidate experience job summary
The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly skilled and ambitious Mathematics teacher to join Robertsbridge Community College. Dependent on candidate experience, this role could also include responsibility for Second in Mathematics: KS3 for the right candidate, with the post holder receiving an additional TLR allowance. Ideally required from September 2022, we would also welcome applications from those looking for a January 2023 start.
We welcome applications from both experienced and early career teachers. You will play a key part in supporting the development of the College in moving from good to outstanding.
The Mathematics department is high achieving, innovative and enthusiastic. Under the leadership of the Head of Department, GCSE results have been consistently high putting the department in the highest percentiles for academic achievement. There are many opportunities for career development in this forward thinking and high achieving College. The ability to teach mathematics across both Key Stage 3 and 4 is essential.
Visited by Ofsted in February 2017, the College maintained its ‘Good’ status, with the official report stating the following; “New teachers feel very well supported and all staff value the helpful opportunities for professional development in a culture of encouragement.”
