Teacher of Mathematics job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher who is able to teach the
subject throughout the school up to Key Stage 5. Newly qualified teachers are welcome
to apply, and we offer a fully supported induction programme, including regular subject specific mentoring and whole school professional development.

The Maths faculty comprises twelve specialist members of staff and is one of the most successful faculties in the School, consistently achieving results that demonstrate extremely good progress at all levels. Maths is consistently one of the most popular subjects at A-level. Core Maths and Further Maths is also offered in the Sixth Form. Several students each year progress on to study maths related subjects at higher education institutions.

You would be joining a forward-thinking and creative faculty with a collegiate approach to teaching and learning. The faculty also offers a vibrant and thriving extra-curricular programme such as the regional Maths Challenge Competition.
