Outwood Academy Adwick are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our Mathematics department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who really wants to make a difference to the lives of young people. Our single goal is ‘Students First’ and you will be joining a strong team of professionals working to this sole aim. We have KS3 to KS5 and are passionate about providing quality teaching to all year groups. There is potential in this role for the right candidate to teach Year 12 and 13 A Level maths.

Outwood Grange Academies Trust provides a high-quality learning and cultural environment that inspires and motivates children. Whether you are ambitious for progression or determined to be an outstanding classroom teacher, Outwood Academy Adwick is the place for you. Leadership development, succession planning and capacity building are major priorities for the Trust as this enables us to facilitate rapid progression for those who want to advance either in the classroom or at a leadership level.

You will be well supported by an experienced team of teachers and Directors as you work to raise attainment levels and offer an engaging curriculum experience.

The Academy benefits from being part of the Outwood Family of Schools, which affords opportunities for staff to work and progress across several schools if desired. All staff are guaranteed a minimum of two hours CPD per week and a further comprehensive programme of professional development is provided through our own network of teaching schools. Our Executive Director for Maths, Kathryn Greenhalgh, leads Yorkshire and the Humber MathsHub.
