Teacher of Maths job summary
We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher to inspire and support our students in their journey to becoming confident and skilled mathematicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum tailored to meet diverse student needs.
Teach GCSE specifications confidently, preparing students for academic success.
Monitor and support the progress and development of students as both a teacher and form tutor.
Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging students to achieve their individual potential.
Contribute to curriculum development, schemes of work, and resource planning.
Promote and safeguard the well-being of all students.
What We’re Looking For:
A degree in a relevant subject with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong subject knowledge in KS3 and KS4 Maths; knowledge of KS2 or KS5 is desirable.
Commitment to professional development and inclusion.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and manage classroom behaviour effectively.

Sir Thomas Fremantle is set in North Buckinghamshire for 11-16 year olds serving the local community. The school is in easy reach of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. We benefit from great facilities – the school building was only opened in 2017.
We are driven to ensure all our students have an incredible education that inspires and prepares them for the next step in their journey. With 600 students we are able to really get to know each of them and our sense of community is a real strength of our school.
