Thornaby Academy is a vibrant, inclusive and caring community that has recently joined the family of schools in Northern Education Trust. In a short space of time, we have wholeheartedly fostered the NET vision of being ‘Outcomes focused, child centred’.
We believe that children come first; every decision we make is always underpinned by what is in the best interests of our young people so that they achieve, are safe, successful, valued and respected.
In collaboration with other NET schools, we have access to a wide range of opportunities for us to develop, strengthen and enrich our provision both in and beyond the classroom. In doing so, we are fully committed to ensuring our young people achieve the outcomes they deserve and develop the skills they need to lead happy and fulfilling lives.
We have the highest expectations of all of our students and staff in our drive to achieve excellence. We particularly value the strong support we receive from parents and the wider community in our focus on standards.
