An opportunity has arisen for a Maths teacher to join our very successful school from September 2020. The successful applicant will be able to teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 with dedication and enthusiasm and there can be an opportunity to teach KS5. You will work well as part of a collaborative team and will be committed to sustaining improvements in the teaching and learning of Mathematics. You will be joining a cohesive, innovative, professional and highly effective team of specialists.

The Saint John Henry Newman School is a popular 11-18 mixed Catholic comprehensive school in Stevenage, and is a member of the Diocese of Westminster Academy Trust. The school serves the Catholic community across north Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and as far south as Hatfield, with pupils from more than 25 different parishes. It has an excellent reputation; it is heavily oversubscribed and there are continuing interest lists for all year groups. The roll is currently approximately1600, including 400 in the Sixth Form. The school has benefitted from considerable investment in its buildings, including a new £3.5 million Sports and Performing block (The Pavilion) and a substantial new build programme to replace our main building and Art block.
