Teacher of Maths job summary

This is an excellent career opportunity for a strong classroom teacher to work within a
dynamic and successful faculty which offers a full range of courses from KS3-5 (including A
Level). The successful candidate will be passionate about mathematical learning and will
have a strong commitment to ensuring that every child achieves the highest possible
academic standards.
Our maths teachers and support staff provide significant strength in depth in what has
become a skilful, highly effective and motivated team. The faculty is engaged in an exciting
period of improvement and development of its own. It plays a leading role in shaping the
school’s approaches to teaching and learning, behaviour, SEND and curriculum
development. The maths faculty enjoys excellent leadership provided by both the head of
faculty and a lead practitioner, and good exam results, especially at post-16. This post would
suit a NQT, or a more experienced candidate looking to develop their experience in a new
setting. NQTs receive excellent support through our in-house induction programme.
