What skills and experience we're looking for
- Experience of Level 2 Qualifications in Maths and Science
- Effective use of a variety of teaching methods to differentiate, motivate and support our students
- Provision of clear structure to lessons
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques
- Able to effectively manage in class support to maximise the benefits to students
- Have a collaborative approach and work with the team of therapists in Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy to ensure a holistic approach for every student
- Professional approach to the duties and responsibilities of a teacher

St Catherine’s is a small national charity working with children and young people with severe and lifelong speech, language and communication needs and associated difficulties.
Our residential centre in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight encompasses a specialist school and sixth form, intensive speech, language and occupational therapy, residential facilities and comprehensive vocational programmes.
