Teacher of Maths job summary
Our Maths Department is comprised of experienced, enthusiastic and engaging teachers. This post would suit an NQT who is looking to be supported and developed, or an experienced colleague. In 2018/19, 83% of students achieved grades 9-4, 70% 9-5 and 32% 9-7.
The Department uses innovative technology to enhance student progress with the use of iPads and Google Apps for Education.

Values and Vision
Queensmead School strives to maintain a learning environment where students can reach their maximum potential, wherever their skills may lie. Technology is a key part of the education environment, with devices such as visualisers, iPads and Chromebooks a regular classroom feature. There is also a strong emphasis on attendance and punctuality, with these qualities seen as essential to the learning process and academic endeavour.
Queensmead offers students the chance to participate in activities such as music tuition and sports, with facilities including basketball courts, a fitness zone and access to five-a-side football pitches. International experiences offered to secondary students include language development in France, Germany and Spain, trekking excursions in Morocco, and skiing in Italy and Austria.
