What skills and experience we're looking for

The school is looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Maths who can teach to the full range of abilities, ensuring appropriate differentiation for students, resulting in high levels of attainment and progress in this key subject. The post holder will have a strong and confident general teaching ability with strategies to motivate and stretch learners across the key stages and ability ranges.

The departments classrooms are all located in the same area of the school, centred around the Head of Department. The current teaching team is well established, and the subject is popular with students and the department is well resourced. Various platforms are used to enhance teaching and learning. It is expected that the successful candidate will bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to complement the existing team.

The person appointed would thus be working within a successful supportive culture with plenty of opportunity to support the wider school community. This teacher must be a highly professional and committed team member.
