Additional allowances

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Maths to join our fantastic faculty and strengthen an already excellent department within a STEM orientated school. This is an excellent opportunity to influence the future direction of the Maths provision within our over-subscribed school in the heart of Corby.
Year 7-11 students follow a 5 year scheme of work with 4 lessons per week. The department has begun an initiative for students to become Maths leaders, this has promoted a positive ethos and working atmosphere in Maths improving student confidence, knowledge and skills. Students also have access to PiXL Maths app, SAM learning and Hegarty Maths which are online tools we promote to enhance the learning of our students. Year 12 and 13 follow the Edexcel specification for A level Maths and Further Maths, students currently study Mechanics and Decision in Further Maths.

You will be given all the freedom you need to be creative and you will be working with students who have chosen to be at a successful school.
