Location: St Mary’s Catholic College

Salary Grade: MPS/UPS + TLR (UP TO 2B)
Contract: This is a full-time, permanent position
Start Date: 1st September 2022, would consider a later start for the right candidate.

An enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Maths is required to join a thriving and successful curriculum area.

This role represents an incredibly exciting opportunity for any candidate who is eager to be a part of an organisation that seeks to secure the very highest educational standards for students, who has high standards, commitment, passion, and the ability to teach across the full range of age and ability.

To attract the widest field possible, we are willing to offer up to TLR2b for the right candidate. Specific responsibilities will be decided during the interview process, dependent on the strengths of the successful candidate but could possibly include: KS4 intervention, leading on maths mastery, whole school numeracy, involvement with whole school CPD, Post 16 Maths Lead (we offer Maths and Further Maths at A Level) and liaison with Maths Hub.

The successful candidate will share in our vision for Catholic Education as part of a successful and experienced Maths department, which is committed to raising academic standards for all students whilst supporting the spiritual and moral development of the whole person.
