Teacher of Maths job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Mathematics teacher who enjoys working with a supportive and dedicated team. Mathematics is a very popular subject at Oakmoor and one of the Academy’s specialisms with an excellent track record of success. The Department is well resourced and staffed by 5 full time and 2 part time experienced members, having over 60 years teaching between them. Mathematics teaching is a team effort with many opportunities to share resources, observe and learn from others.

Our aim is that every student gains enjoyment from their study of Maths and will become fluent in the Maths skills necessary for life. The lessons we teach are dynamic, varied and interesting, with all students being challenged in a supportive environment. Teachers individualise their own lessons within the curriculum strand being taught.
