Teacher of Maths job summary

 

Outwood Academy Ripon, as part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust is right at the forefront of maths education, both in terms of ensuring student are taught maths for deep understanding, and in enabling every students to leave school with a maths qualification that opens doors for them. We have a curriculum that allows for this and the training and support for teachers to feel confident to facilitate this for all. 

Our Senior Director leads the Yorkshire and Humber Maths Hub. This, as well as her work with the DfE, means OGAT maths is helping to inform and mould the landscape of maths, regionally and nationally. 

We have a great training package for NQTs and teachers new to the academy including: Teaching for Mastery; Open Classroom events; Maths Matters; TSST; weekly professional development time and further programmes free through the Outwood Institute of Education. We invest in you so you invest in our students.
