Dereham Neatherd High School is seeking a Teacher of Maths to join our team.  Although we are looking for a secondary Maths teacher, there is flexibility within the role meaning it could also be suitable for a KS2 teacher seeking to gain experience of teaching at secondary level.  We are also open to applications from teachers seeking to work part-time as part of a job share arrangement.  This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented professional.  A willingness to improve your own practice and work well within a team would be advantageous. Please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification on mynewterm.com for more details.

We are an oversubscribed, “good” school (Ofsted, 2020) which aims to be truly outstanding in every area of school life. We have exceptionally high standards and strive for excellence in all we do. Our ethos – “Traditional, Inclusive, Supportive” – is evident in our rigorous academic curriculum and our strong reputation for first-rate pastoral provision. We are very proud of our pupils and have a highly talented, friendly and supportive staff who are steadfast in living our shared core values: compassion, hard work, respect, integrity and fairness.

We are committed to offering excellent professional opportunities for our staff, through careful support and personalised CPD. We offer a structured and specific induction programme for all staff.  We work closely with staff and unions to support colleague wellbeing across the Trust. The Trust welcomes applications from members of minority ethnic communities and those with disabilities.

Staff employee benefits include Pension, Cycle to Work Scheme, Employee Assistance Programme and parking on site.

Visits to school and/or informal discussions are welcomed.  Please contact us via vacancies@neatherd.org or on 01362 697981.

Closing date:  9am 02.10.2023, or on earlier successful appointment.  Early applications are therefore recommended.
