A fantastic opportunity to join a supportive maths department with a strong sense of collaboration and an ambition for all students to be successful maths learners. We are seeking an outstanding classroom practitioner who is passionate about maths and has high expectations of all learners.
We are open to receive applications from unqualified teachers and those looking to undergo teacher training.

We are at a really exciting stage of our development journey as we are developing a new Key Stage 3 curriculum to reflect the principles behind teaching for mastery. We have two Secondary Mathematics Specialists and have strong links with the local Maths Hub. This enables us to provide excellent subject specific professional development, both in house in regular department meeting, but also hosting other local schools with external CPD leads.
We are committed to supporting all staff, managing workload and promoting wellbeing.
We do this by:

- A ssessment and feedback policy focused on exit tickets and whole class feedback
- P urposeful department meetings
- U sing the Sparx platform to maximise impact and reduce planning of homework
High quality teaching and high expectations are at the heart of Kettering Science Academy and all teachers will be expected to develop exemplary practice which supports the ethos, values and vision, and contributes to the overall life and work of the Academy. Teachers will also be expected to promote and develop social, moral and physical aptitudes in their pupils and to provide advice and guidance where necessary.
