This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed Catholic Multi Academy Trust. St Thérèse of Lisieux CMAT is one of four newly created Catholic Multi Academy Trusts (CMAT’s) in the Diocese of Nottingham, which provides consistent, proactive and high quality support and services to all our head teachers, senior leaders and trustees.

St. Bede’s Catholic Academy is a mixed Catholic Academy serving the North Lincolnshire community. We are a supportive school where students achieve and make sustained progress as a result of our distinctive Catholic ethos and strong culture of learning. We have been rated “Good” by OFSTED and “Outstanding” at our most recent section 48 Canonical inspection.

Essential educational requirements

Commitment to raising standards of attainment

Up to date knowledge of current trends in education
Have a good understanding and knowledge of the GCSE syllabus and be clear on the teaching requirements.

Essential qualifications

Qualified to Degree level
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience of teaching in primary education
Evidence of CPD and/or school practice

Excellent classroom practitioner
Develop others through sharing of best practice
Commitment to being an excellent team player
Excellent relationships with children, parents, staff and governors
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences
Excellent behaviour management skills
Create a happy, challenging and effective learning environment
To understand effective strategies for addressing underperformance and provide effective support.
To be willing to participate in the extra revision sessions which provide individualised support for students.
To lead acts of collective worship.
