Teacher of Maths job summary
About the role: Strood Academy has an exciting opportunity to appoint a talented Teacher of Maths to join us for September 2019. Our Maths department is highly successful, comprised of 15 staff offering a wealth of knowledge and broad skill-set between them. With responsibility for teaching across all three key stages across the academy (dependent on experience and subject knowledge), our successful practitioner will be joining a committed team of experienced and newly qualified teachers, and also be in receipt of incredibly strong and positive leadership of the faculty. We deem this to be a fantastic role and one that will enable you to work within the wider Trust and collaborate with teaching professionals in a variety of our academies. This position can be offered on either a full or part-time basis (minimum of 3 days per week), dependent on our successful candidates' preference.
We can offer the opportunity to join a school that offers significant support for staff internally, and also benefit from support from the wider Trust on the new curriculum and raising standards. The responsibilities of this role are in line with the National Teaching Standards.
