What skills and experience we're looking for

Required for September 2023, an enthusiastic and highly effective teacher of Maths, with the ability to teach across the full ability and age range, to join this strong department within our high performing, over-subscribed school. Maths P8 scores have improved year on year since 2017, now exceeding national average for Progress 8, and we are looking for an outstanding candidate to continue this journey of success in pursuit of our vision of “Excellence in all we do”.

The post is suitable for either ECTs or established teachers who are committed to developing young people through the highly effective delivery of learning sequences that motivate students and secure high rates of progress.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for Maths and improving students’ mathematical knowledge and numeracy skills.
  • Can resolve to make a real difference to our students’ lives as healthy, respectful, tolerant citizens that demonstrate fundamental British values.
  • Has an creative approach to outstanding teaching and learning and a commitment to professional development.
  • Has a clear commitment to raising standards for all students.
