Teacher of Maths with Computer Science job summary
From Geometry to Python, Algebra to Binary; join our growing team to help our students experience the joy of creating their first programs and websites alongside building up budding mathematicians.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mathematics and Computer Science team to help students prepare for jobs that might not even exist yet! In Mathematics students follow a Mastery curriculum, developing their logic and problem solving skills from Year 7 through to their GCSE’s in Year 11. In Computer Science students use these skills to create their first programs, build websites, create their own apps and program Micro-Bits whilst also learning about the history of computing, how computers work and how to keep themselves safe online. This is then built on in KS4 where we prepare students to gain a GCSE in Computer Science, preparing them for their future careers. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and passionate teacher to join a thriving department helping our students thrive in an increasingly technological world.
