Teacher of Maths (with Computer Science) job summary

Wyvern St Edmund's (WSE) require an outstanding Teacher of Maths to join our Maths Department, on a permanent basis. 

The successful candidate will predominantly teach Maths but there will also be a requirement for some Computer Science teaching as well.

We are very proud of the progress that students make at WSE. We are committed to a process of constant school improvement so that our students are afforded every opportunity to become the best version of themselves. 

We also have a close and positive relationship with Salisbury Sixth Form College, which is a short drive away from WSE. Our partnership with the college means that there may be opportunities to work collaboratively with KS5 students and teachers.

The mission statement of the Maths department is to challenge and engage students to build a secure framework of mathematical reasoning, which they can use and apply with confidence.  The department is well resourced, with a wide variety of materials necessary for effective teaching of Mathematics.

Wyvern College and St. Edmund's Girls School have merged to create one learning campus. Facilities and teachers are shared to create a large, mixed, setting of approximately 1300 students.
