Additional £2,000 Recruitment Bonus

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated teacher of Maths to complement our enthusiastic and knowledgeable team. This role will also comprise a responsibility within the department to work alongside the existing department leaders on driving improvement across the curriculum. The successful candidate will be able to teach throughout all Key Stages Three and Four. We believe all students have the right to develop their Mathematical capabilities and skills to thrive in their studies and take them to the next level.

The mathematics department is a friendly, hard-working team, committed to stimulating students’ interest and enjoyment in their studies, in addition to, consistently producing outstanding examination results. The strong team ethos of collaborative planning and shared resources enables students to make excellent progress in mathematics across all key stages. Recent Ofsted reports have commented that “The teaching of mathematics in the sixth form is outstanding” and that “teaching in mathematics is a strength of the school”. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, highly motivated, and innovative teacher who will add value to this already thriving curriculum area.

Ethical leadership is at the core of all decision making at Southfield.
