Required from September 2022
We are looking for a well-qualified and experienced Maths teacher to lead on KS5 Maths. This post is for candidates who have a successful track record in delivering outstanding A level Maths outcomes. The successful candidate will teach a high proportion of KS5 Maths and work closely with the Head of Faculty to further develop this highly successful and growing area of the school. As outlined in the faculty information document the department have excellent facilities with state-of-the-art touch screen displays and visualisers. In addition, the department uses Hegarty Maths to support students learning outside of the classroom and effective and efficient marking and feedback policy.
The Carlton Academy is a ‘good’ and over-subscribed 11-18 academy and part of the Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member of Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and a chance to work alongside colleagues from other high-performing schools in the region. The Trust also leads the regional Teaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers.
