What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and inspirational Teacher of Media to join our well-qualified and effective team of specialist teachers. The successful candidate will teach across the full ability range at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. This post represents an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified specialist to share in the work of this thriving department and would suit an experienced colleague or an Early Career Teacher. This is a full-time permanent vacancy with a September 2023 start. Part-time may be considered for the right candidate. Experience of teaching BTEC would be a significant advantage.

The successful candidate will be willing to support the ‘external link’ element of the BTEC Technical award by supporting the department with external visits and the organisation and hosting of the department’s annual film festival, held in December at the Lighthouse Theatre in Poole.
