We are looking for an inspirational Teacher of Spanish to join The Deepings School.

You will join an improving school with regular opportunities to develop in your professional career. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who believe that successful outcomes stem from learning and teaching that fosters engagement in the classroom and who are passionately committed to regular, robust CPD.

Courses

Spanish is currently the core language, taught on entry in Year 7 in banded groups. Spanish at KS3 builds on the National Curriculum but also incorporates wider hinterland knowledge. At KS4 students work towards the AQA GCSE. There has been a strong tradition of A Level Languages at The Deepings over many years, with students following the AQA syllabus.

Resources

We have five full-size language classrooms, two small seminar rooms used for Sixth Form/small group work and generous office and storage space. All classrooms have projectors, visualisers and networked desktops. Access to full computer suites is available.

An MFL Assistant provides support across the department and administrative support is available from a highly efficient centralised team.
