Teacher of MFL - Spanish & French (0.8 FTE)
Do you have a passion for languages and the ability to inspire our students?
We are looking to recruit a passionate and engaging Teacher of MFL (0.8 FTE) to join our established team at The Burgess Hill Academy in September 2022. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and early career teachers.
We are a growing academy and have increased from 5 forms entry in 2016 to 9 form entry in 2021. Languages play an important part of our curriculum and we regularly achieve above average GCSE outcomes. We are looking for a dynamic and innovative teaching professional to help us deliver our expanding languages provision in Spanish and French. Candidates should be able to teach both languages to KS3 and either Spanish or French to KS4 (although the ability to teach both Spanish and French to KS4 would be desirable).

The Burgess Hill Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16-year olds in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. We challenge and support our pupils to believe in their best, providing an academic focus with a determination to support wellbeing and employability skills.
