The Academy is growing at a rapid rate and we need high quality teachers to join our experienced team. We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of MFL to join us on our journey to becoming a great school for the community of Burgess Hill. 

We have gone from 5 forms of entry in 2016 to 9 forms of entry in 2021. Languages plays an important part in our curriculum and we regularly achieve above average GCSE outcomes. We are looking for someone to help us deliver our expanding languages provision in Spanish & French.  Candidates should be able to teach both languages to KS3 and either Spanish or French to KS4 (although the ability to teach both Spanish and French to KS4 would be desirable.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs.

The Burgess Hill Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16-year olds in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. We challenge and support our pupils to believe in their best, providing an academic focus with a determination to support wellbeing and employability skills.
