About the role: The Hundred of Hoo Academy has a fantastic opportunity to appoint a talented and passionate Teacher of MFL who truly wishes to inspire our pupils within the languages remit. Joining us in September 2022, our ideal candidate will be a German specialist who can teach KS3 French and Spanish, but we will welcome applications from exceptional teachers who can deliver either of the three languages listed. Please note that we require our successful teacher to have experience in delivering the UK MFL curriculum.
Joining The Hundred of Hoo all-through academy will enable you to work with like-minded colleagues who share your goals and ambitions. Whether you are new to the teaching profession or experienced, you will contribute to leading and shaping the vision and future of our school and wider Trust.
This is a permanent, full time position and we would like the successful candidate to join us for September 2022.

Working with our academy: In September 2011, The Hundred of Hoo converted to Academy status and just one year later, Ofsted judged the academy as “good with outstanding features”, recognising the relentless focus and ambition that we have. In September 2015 the academy welcomed its first Reception class thereby extending its age range to 4-year-old children. This exciting provision demonstrates the Academy’s sense of ambition to serve the community where pupils’ academic journey represents a cradle to university principle.
We are delighted to announce that following a recent Ofsted inspection in July 2018 the academy has been judged 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features in terms of our Early Years provision and effectiveness of Leadership and Management.
Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2021, our Trust comprises 31 geographically organised academies (15 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North West Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
