  In what we believe to be an outstanding opportunity we are looking to appoint a Teacher of MFL to join our successful Humanities Faculty.

  We currently offer French up to KS4 and so the successful candidate must be able to teach a Year 10 and a Year 11 class through the rigours and requirements of GCSEs.

  We also welcome applications from professionals who might have experience of teaching another language, so that we can develop the provision of languages at Key Stage 3, and possibly KS4 in future.

  • Ability to teach French to GCSE (required) ; • Additional language that can be used to help develop the provision of languages at Eskdale School (considered)

Eskdale School is a successful, popular and growing 11-16 community school situated in Whitby on the North Yorkshire Coast. As a school, we have low staff turnover and high staff retention and our colleagues (and hopefully yours) travel from areas such as Redcar, Guisborough, and Ryedale, as well as from Scarborough and Filey.
