Be part of a growing team of passionate linguists who share their enthusiasm with pupils and staff within a global and multilingual environment!
You will join a vibrant and well-resourced MFL department with a supportive SLT in a National Centre for Excellence for Language Pedagogy Hub School.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to join our MFL department. You will be able to teach Spanish to KS5 as your main language, as we have recently introduced Spanish A Level, as well as French to KS4. The department are committed to raising attainment; you will have the ability to motivate our students to succeed and develop their love of languages through engaging lessons.
We run trips and clubs to strengthen pupils’ love and understanding of languages and allowing them new experiences. These have included a French Escape Room, Spanish Restaurant, Mandarin Club, plus a day trip to Boulogne sur Mer. We are always open to new ideas!
Our aim is to establish a culture of excellence throughout every element of our academy and move us from Good to Outstanding.
There are approximately 1,000 students on roll, which includes the Sixth Form. A new building programme, just completed, comprises a brand-new Sixth Form Centre, sports facilities including a gym, and a new restaurant and coffee shop for both students and staff. We also have a thriving House system that brings our whole school community together.
