Teacher of MFL (suitable for NQT) 0.6 FTE job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious part time MFL teacher to join our existing, high-performing and passionate team. We are committed to ensuring all students continue to achieve beyond their potential. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a department dedicated to improving outcomes, aspirations and life chances of young people. The successful candidate must have the ability to teach Spanish as the main language and will ideally also have the ability to teach French.

Classroom Teachers - Expectations of all Academy staff:

• Teach across the age range of KS3 and KS4 to all abilities
• Ensure teaching and learning in the classroom maximises the potential of all students
• To be accountable for the progress of pupils taught as a subject teacher.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of an innovative and engaging MFL curriculum
• Be dedicated to personal continued professional development
• To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide opportunities for personal and academic growth.
