Teacher of MFL job summary
Learning a foreign language provides an opening to other cultures which is underpinned by high quality languages education that fosters pupils’ curiosity and deepens their understanding of the world. We are looking to appoint a dynamic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher who is innovative and inspiring with the ability to deliver a French and/or Spanish curriculum that is authentic and engages our students. The successful candidate will share our values, be passionate about their subject and inspire all students to share their enthusiasm for languages.
The post will involve working with the Head of MFL on the strategic oversight, preparation and leadership of French and Spanish across Key Stage 3 and 4, ensuring that students make progress through quality first teaching. The postholder will have the ability to demonstrate their commitment to their subject and how they can support the trust in fostering collaboration ensuring the continual improvement of the quality of students learning is at the top of the business agenda. The teaching of French to KS5 level is desirable, although not essential.
