Salary/Pay Range: MPS-UPS (£32,916-£51,047)

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French and/or Spanish) to provide maternity cover. The successful candidate will be passionate, highly motivated, and committed to ensuring that all learners achieve their full potential. This post is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

The appointed teacher will join an experienced, collaborative, and high‑performing team. We have developed a broad and balanced curriculum that excites learners, and languages remain very popular amongst students. Uptake at GCSE in both French and Spanish has been consistently strong, with exceptional outcomes achieved over a number of years. In summer 2023, 2024, and 2025, GCSE results placed the subjects in FFT5 for attainment and progress across nearly all measures.

We offer a collaborative and supportive environment in which learners make strong progress and teachers are encouraged to develop continuously. A comprehensive induction and support package is provided for all new staff, ensuring they are fully integrated into the ethos of both the school and the trust.
