Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages job summary

We are offering an exciting opportunity to an enthusiastic teacher to teach Modern Foreign Languages across the age and ability range, specialising in French and Spanish with KS3 German an advantage

Languages at the school play a hugely important role in ensuring the curriculum offer at Farlingaye offers students breadth and opportunity, and also the chance to foster a life-long love of learning a foreign language. We currently offer three languages, Spanish, French and German at KS3 with most students studying two in years 8 and 9. At GCSE and A Level all three languages are offered, and the strength of outcomes at both levels shows the ability of the students here and the excellence in teaching on offer.

The person appointed will be assured of considerable support; we are a very successful, enthusiastic, hardworking, lively and very friendly group of teachers committed to promoting multiculturalism and language learning as a skill for life

Potential candidates are encouraged to visit the school, and will be warmly welcomed. Requests for visits should be made prior to the closing date of Tuesday, 25th March 2025 . Please contact Linda Marsh, HR Manager on hr@farlingaye.suffolk.sch.uk or 01394 385720.
