Ashton Park School are looking for a 0.6 Modern Foreign Languages teacher to join our Languages Team, a team who are deeply valued by the students we teach.
Students at Ashton Park School study French or Spanish. Students are allocated a core language in Year 7 and continue with this language up until the end of Key Stage 3. We follow the Gianfranco Conti methods in our lessons and have spent a lot of work developing our curriculum and assessment. This is an exciting time to join this development.
At Key Stage 4, French and Spanish are optional subjects. We teach the AQA specification in mixed ability groups. This role would involve teaching Spanish to GCSE and French to Key Stage 3.
As a Teacher you will be working in the department alongside three subject specialists to cover both French and Spanish as specified. The successful applicant will possess an enriching style of teaching that encourages our students. We would like to appoint a teacher who is able to engage pupils with their strong devotion for the subject and their positive and passionate personality.
