What the school offers its staff

Modern Foreign Languages is a large and successful faculty at Springwood, with French, German and Spanish all being offered up to A level.In response to research into language-teaching, we have established a Knowledge Rich Curriculum and large bank of resources to support teachers and reduce workload. Along with our members of staff working in the department, we are also very lucky to employ three Modern Foreign Language Assistants from the British Council each year to support our students. We regularly run trips to France, Germany and Spain and offer a variety of extracurricular language clubs, competitions and rewards for our students.

Springwood High School part of West Norfolk Academies Trust are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to join their highly successful MFL faculty.Sharing your passion for language learning with the students and making an important contribution to our department.

Timetabled languages offered at KS3-5 are French, German and Spanish. We would welcome applications from well-qualified candidates offering at least two subjects.

The successful candidate will be able to engage and motivate students at all levels, be passionate about the subject and able to support all students in reaching their full potential.

We are looking to commence this role as soon as possible September 23

Payscale MPS/UPS as appropriate with TLR available for the suitable candidate
