What skills and experience we're looking for
Eckington School is seeking an outstanding teacher of Modern Foreign Languages. The Modern Languages faculty delivers French, German and Spanish. This role would suit an ECT or established teacher.
The successful candidate will teach a combination Modern Foreign Languages.

Thank you for expressing an interest in the position of Modern Foreign Languages. Eckington School is an 11-18 comprehensive secondary school in Derbyshire with circa 1260 students on role.
This is an exciting and unique time at Eckington School. On 1st April 2023, Eckington School joined Chorus Academy Trust and on 17th April 2023, it welcomed a new Headteacher. In September 2023, the school also welcomed two new Deputy Headteachers and three new Assistant Headteachers. If successfully appointed, you will be joining a school determined to make rapid improvements to ensure all of Eckington’s students receive the very best education that enables them to maximise their full potential.

Eckington School is an 11-18 comprehensive secondary school in North-East Derbyshire with more than 1200 students on roll, including 150 in the school’s Sixth Form. In April 2023, Eckington School joined Chorus Education Trust, also welcoming a new Headteacher.
