What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a talented, part-time, teacher of French and/or Spanish. We deliver both languages at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 with around 45% of the Key Stage 4 cohort studying at least one language at GCSE.

The successful candidate will be passionate and be able to work as a member of the MFL faculty to ensure the consistent promotion of language learning and to secure the best outcomes for all of our students.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. The Joseph Whitaker School is a popular 11-18 school, in Rainworth, a village just outside of Mansfield. It serves the three local villages of Blidworth, Rainworth and Ravenshead and has around 1300 students.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified Key Stage 5 Teacher of Criminology, ideally with experience of teaching Psychology and/or Sociology A-level.

We have extremely high expectations of our students and staff and offer excellent training and professional development opportunities. This position would be ideal for either someone looking to broaden their experience of Key Stage 5 teaching.
