What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an innovative, dynamic classroom teacher of Modern Foreign Languages who is looking for an opportunity to shine in a supportive, small school. The successful candidate will have genuine enthusiasm for the subject, and a good subject knowledge. He or she must be committed to inclusive education and will have the ability to motivate and inspire young people through their passion and ability to engage with them. The ability to teach French to GCSE level is required.
The successful candidate will be joining a school in which he or she will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to both the department and the wider school.

Millom School is a small 11-18 community school and an established sixth form. In Key Stage 4 the school has introduced a number of alternative courses and accreditations in conjunction with GCSEs. These are presented to the students as 14-19 courses and they offer automatic progression to AS/A2 or Level 3 vocational courses. The Post-16 curriculum includes a range of A-level and BTEC subjects.
