Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented MFL teacher to join an exceptional department. Our students learn French and German from Year 7 onwards, specialising further in Year 9 and with provision for students to study one or both languages to GCSE and A Level. Approximately 75% of our students take a language at GCSE; in 2019 over 75% of French and German grades were at 4+ and 53% of grades at 5+ at GCSE level.

We would ideally like to recruit a teacher who can offer both French and German but the ability to teach French to at least GCSE level is essential. The appointed teacher will also have the opportunity over time to teach A Level French and/or German in addition to both courses at GCSE level.
