We are seeking a well-qualified individual to deliver high-quality lessons and excellent pastoral care across KS3-KS5. It is an exciting time to join St Edmund’s Catholic Academy as we continue our journey towards outstanding.
Our extremely popular school is situated in leafy Compton Park, adjacent to the Wolves Academy training grounds, with its wonderful open fields and sports facilities.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a real passion for their subject and a desire to work collaboratively within a very well established and high performing team and will:
Teach French at KS3 and Spanish at KS3 & KS4. (Experience of teaching French to KS4 or beyond and Spanish to KS5 is desirable but is not essential).
Have experience of working with the Edexcel exam board is advantageous as the academy will be teaching the Edexcel Specification from 2024 for the New GCSE Specification for French and Spanish.
Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St Edmund’s and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school including the annual programme of Liturgical events, weekly enrichment activities and annual showcase events within the academy.
