We seek a
lively and enthusiastic teacher of MFL to work in this strong and dynamic
department which teaches French and Spanish to GCE A level. There are currently
two full-time members and three part-time members, all of whom are specialist
language teachers and have a lively and enthusiastic approach to the subject.
The department is hard-working, innovative, ambitious and mutually supportive. The
hard work and dedication of the staff have been cited in Ofsted reports as
having a significant impact on pupils’ progress.
It is expected
that prospective candidates have excellent subject knowledge, are willing to
teach French or Spanish to A level and have a commitment to high standards.
They will need to have an imaginative and flexible approach to teaching and a
good sense of humour.
School & College is an 11-18 comprehensive school, only half an hour away
from Norwich city centre. It has over 800 pupils in the main school and 240
students in the sixth form college. The school serves a very wide catchment
