What skills and experience we're looking for
Larkmead School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and inspiring classroom practitioner from September 2023. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspirational, enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher to join our thriving MFL team. The position is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers.
As the successful candidate you will be:
- a qualified MFL teacher who is always looking to develop
- confident teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
- passionate about all aspects of languages
- committed to making a difference to young people’s lives
- a team player with excellent communication and inter-personal skills

The MFL department at Larkmead School is a small but supportive and experienced team, dedicated to broadening the appeal of languages at KS3 and KS4. In addition to the language we aim to provide our students with a better understanding and appreciation of other cultures. We are committed to developing the teaching of MFL according to the latest research and best practice in the MFL community, embracing different approaches and sharing ideas and resources.
