Post: Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French and Spanish)
Location: Stocksbridge High School

As a school we fully believe that all of our students should have the opportunity to learn another language. Recently, we have invested in the subject by introducing Spanish alongside French and raised expectations for students continuing them up to GCSE Level. We are very pleased that this year there has been threefold increase in the number of students opting to take qualifications in a modern foreign language. We are seeking to appoint a hard-working and passionate teacher, specialising in both French and Spanish, to continue this growth and engagement. We view this as a critical post in the development of both the school’s curriculum and culture.
The closing date is 1pm on Thursday 29 April 2021, and interviews will take place on
Wednesday 5 May 2021.
