TEACHER OF MODERN FOREIGN LANGUAGES
Main Scale (Outer London)
Required for September 2022
The Royal Liberty School where “pupils are well behaved, respectful and courteous” and “parents value the sense of community, which is palpable throughout the school” (OFSTED February 2019).
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our supportive faculty. The languages we offer are French and Spanish and we are looking for a teacher who can teach one of these languages to GCSE.
It would be desirable to have a knowledge of the other language and be able to teach it to Key Stage 3, although not essential.
Languages are very popular subjects and students achieve GCSE results well above national average.
Approximately 80% of students take a language GCSE at Key Stage 4. We are very proud of this success and are looking for a new teacher to join our aspirational team.
This post would be very suitable for an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) looking for their first appointment. ECTs are fully supported by an induction programme delivered by the school and the Empower Alliance.
We take a collaborative view of learning where good practice is shared through a structured INSET programme within school and across the Trust.
