We need a talented specialist who can teach French to Key Stage 4 with a passion for their subject. An additional language at KS3 would be desirable. We are seeking someone who will be able to provide our children with the best possible experience of this essential subject. Could it be you?

The successful candidate will be joining us at an exciting time in the School’s journey. The school joined the Matrix Academy Trust in May 2021 with major changes to systems and structures have already begun. Many of our pupils will be studying a language to GCSE as part of our commitment to the EBacc qualification and as a result we need to build further capacity in this area. We are also about embark on the Turing Scheme which will see 100 disadvantaged pupils from across the Trust travel overseas for the first time. We advocate exciting opportunities for all pupils and we’d encourage your participation and drive for this too. This role will also have an attached TLR for a candidate who can bring something additional to our team. Specifically looking at the development of strategy, resources and staff training to impact on teaching and learning across the whole school.

Turves Green Boys’ School has recently joined Matrix Academy Trust. We are a Trust with five schools, 4,600 children, nearly 600 staff and a passion for school improvement. All of our schools have improved in Ofsted terms since joining the Trust. Our aim will be to work with pupils, parents and staff at Turves Green Boys’ to support the many improvements that have taken place since the school was placed in special measures.
