What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to a unique role as Teacher of Motor Vehicle Engineering and Construction. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who really wants to make a difference to the lives of young people. Our single goal is ‘Students First’ and you will be joining a strong team of professionals working to this sole aim. A Recruitment and Retention Allowance will be available for exceptional candidates.
Our vision for this exciting role is to work with students at Outwood Academy Portland, and with other academies across the trust to provide a unique experience in learning skills and gaining qualifications in motor vehicle engineering and construction (including the Built Enviroment). You will work closely with SLT colleagues to devise a programme of learning that is accessible to all students, including those who undertake learning through alternative provision.
