What skills and experience we're looking for

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding, dynamic and innovative teacher of Music to join Robertsbridge Community College. This is a one-year fixed term post to cover a sabbatical, from September 2023.

The Music department is a thriving subject area committed to enhancing student enthusiasm for the subject and improving individual pupil progress. Key Stage 4 uptake for music is growing and we are committed to expanding this further.

Visited by Ofsted in September 2022, the College maintained its ‘Good’ status, with the official report stating that “Pupils enjoy their lessons and value the nurturing and friendly atmosphere which pervades the College. The school’s motto ‘success through partnership’ is exemplified through the strong relationships evident between teachers and pupils.”
